In 1979, after graduating from culinary school in the Bordeaux region of France, Pascal Bonhomme was invited to New York City to join chef Claude Bailles in his restaurant Claude's. Pascal worked at Claude's for a number of years before joining Sally Darr as Chef du Cuisine at her restaurant La Tulipe a classic award-winning French restaurant considered in its day to have been one of New York's finest.
When you go to this restaurant, you think it's a French bistro then you look at the menu and it's an everything bistro. It was recommended to eat here and it did not disappoint. Very friendly service and the food was quite good...
Excellent French restaurant very good and very well priced. small little cute place. It's around the corner from the Cooper Hewitt museum , try the Steak and eggs , is very good, very professional and friendly staff.
I loved this restaurant. It is charming, and the food is fantastic. I could not recommend it more highly.
Absolutely outstanding food. Charming place, great people. All around a big win. Service is usually very reliable.
Table for 4 and a lovely evening with excellent food, good service and a welcoming atmosphere. The fresh fish was excellent as was the onion goat cheese tart. Recommend for a pleasant evening without breaking the bank.
